POSITION OF PRINCIPAL

King’s International College Ja-Ela, established in 2011 under the El Shaddai Ministry Trust, provides students the opportunity to follow the local curriculum, in English Medium. The school is committed to nurturing and providing a holistic education for children and youth, built on Christian principles and values which will equip them to face the future with confidence.

Applications are invited from those with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in teaching, with some experience in administration, a Master’s degree or a Post Graduate qualification from a recognised university and preferably over 40 years of age.

The ideal candidate would also:

• Have shared values and faith
• Be preferably over 40 years of age
• Be a dynamic and decisive leader willing to make difficult decisions in the best interest of the school
• Be a confident and sincere communicator who can win the trust and confidence of the students and staff
• Be an educationalist who can identify and develop quality teaching and learning, familiar with the national curriculum and the latest learning and performance management systems
• Be a leader who can creatively and effectively encourage academics, sports and extracurricular activities, while providing the necessary guidance towards excellence
• Be able to build and maintain good relationships within and among all stakeholders of the school community, especially the parents, through proactive communication

Emoluments will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
