ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Location : Welisara

JOB PROFILE

  • Assist in preparing financial statement, reports, and budgets.
  • perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Keep financial record up-to-date, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • provide necessary documentation to internal and external Audits.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Work with other departments to ensure financial accuracy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional experience in Assistant Accountant or similar field.
  • Sound knowledge in Accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial information, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software would be an added advantage and MS Excel.
  • Ability to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues effectively.
  • Prioritizes tasks and meet deadlines.
