Vacancy for QA Technician - Sri Lanka
Asmara International Limited is seeking to hire experienced and dedicated QA Technician (QA) professionals to join our team in Sri Lanka. As a leading liaison office, we are looking for individuals who can ensure the highest standards for our esteemed clients.
Location: Factory-based in Sri Lanka -
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on individual samples with focus on priorities as listed below.
- Pattern (with or without the help of pattern technicians)
- Fitting
- Construction
- Workmanship
- Measurements
- Co-ordinate with the merchandiser and the factory directly on the sampling plan, sampling quality and other related activities.
- Co-Ordinate with buyer directly to clarify the technical concerns, providing solutions for the issues and related activities.
- Co-Ordinate with factory team directly on the sampling issues, solutions for the problems in samples for pattern, fit, construction feasibility etc.
- Anticipate problems and take appropriate actions well in advance in consultation with the QA head, BU-Head or with the QC team.
- Manages fair harmony between the internal and external customers.
- Train the internal and external teams in understanding the buyer signature, buyer requirements, and basic product standards and to achieve the desired requirements in the end product.
- Maintain the records related to the job responsibilities.
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of proven experience in quality control / Quality Assurance within the garment exports industry with liaison office.
- Extensive Technical knowledge of woven tops dresses and bottoms for both Men / women & Kids.
- Strong understanding of international quality standards and inspection protocols.
- Excellent communication skills in both English Sinhala and problem-solving skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong Decision-making capability and finding technical solutions for the improvement of product quality.
