SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER
Join a dynamic and growing organization engaged in engineering and infrastructure projects. We are seeking a highly experienced and driven professional to support and oversee our construction and road development projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in planning, coordinating and supervising technical and engineering projects.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and project teams to ensure timely execution of project activities.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, BOQs and project documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records, site reports and technical documentation.
- Monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technical staff and project personnel.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations at project sites.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- NDT / HNDE / NDES / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in construction, engineering projects or technical supervision roles.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in road construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, quality standards and industry regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, contract documents and engineering standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and other relevant engineering software applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and project coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple project activities.
- Male candidate below 50 years of age preferred.
