Finance Executive
Empire Teas (Pvt) Ltd is a leading exporter of high-quality Ceylon Teas, among the top five exporters in Sri Lanka, and is seeking dynamic and results-oriented professionals to fill the above position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Credit Risk & Analysis: Conduct due diligence on new/existing customers, evaluate country-specific risks, and assign internal credit ratings.
- Operational Control: Manage customer creation, verify payment terms, handle BL releases, and resolve customer order release.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on receivables, income summaries, and loan outstanding for senior management.
- International & Treasury: Manage bank balances and remittances of international branch office; assist with treasury, banking, tax (FDB), and CUSDEC reconciliations.
- Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with Sales & Trading to set credit limits and maintain records for bad debts and overdue accounts.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or part/full professional qualifications.
- Experience: 2–3 years in Finance or Credit Management, preferably in Export or Manufacturing.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Competency: Proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
