MANAGER HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATION

We are seeking an experienced and people-oriented Senior Manager to lead the Human Resources and Administration functions in our Sri Lankan office. This leadership role will focus on workforce strategy, organisational effectiveness, and operational support, with the successful candidate based primarily in Sri Lanka.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • A postgraduate qualification in a related field will be considered an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HR or People & Culture management role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Sri Lankan employment law and HR practices, with a willingness to undertake structured training in Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act 2009, NES, WHS, and Equal Opportunity frameworks
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align people strategy to business outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills across writing, presenting, and facilitation
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential matters

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

People & Culture

  • Develop and execute a People & Culture strategy aligned with business objectives in Sri Lanka
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
  • Design and deliver learning & development programs that build capability and drive measurable outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation in Sri Lanka
  • Maintain and continuously improve HR policies, systems, and HR platforms in Sri Lanka

Administration & Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, facilities, procurement and asset management
  • Drive continuous improvement in administrative systems, governance, and regulatory compliance
  • Lead internal communications, change management and organisational development initiatives

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people, culture, and workplace matters
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders in Sri Lanka
