Senior Executive - Talent Acquisition (Retail Operations)
Step into an exciting opportunity as an Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition (Retail), where you will play a key role in shaping the teams behind one of Sri Lanka’s fastest-growing retail networks. We are looking for a hands-on recruitment professional to support our ongoing hiring needs and workforce requirements.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end recruitment for store and operational roles, driving consistent hiring outcomes through structured processes, strong stakeholder collaboration, and proactive, innovative sourcing strategies. You will play a key role in building high-quality talent pipelines, enhancing hiring efficiency, and strengthening workforce stability across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end hiring for store and operational roles, ensuring timely vacancy closure
- Partner with Operations to validate requirements and prioritize hiring needs
- Drive hiring initiatives to support workforce planning and business needs
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across multiple sourcing channels
- Coordinate interviews and ensure efficient screening and candidate experience
- Track key hiring metrics (time-to-fill, drop-offs, conversions) and drive improvements
- Maintain accurate hiring trackers and dashboards for visibility and reporting
- Support training pipelines and deployment of job-ready candidates
- Improve retention through structured new hire follow-ups
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) will be an added advantage
- 2–3 years of proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with exposure to retail or FMCG environments being an added advantage
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
- Ability to interpret hiring data and track performance against recruitment targets
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple hiring requirements and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Demonstrated commitment to fair and inclusive recruitment practices
