Access Engineering PLC, the leading value engineering solutions provider in Sri Lanka is pleased to invite applicants for the following positions (site based) for the Central Expressway Project III – Phase 2.
Material Technician
- NCT Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 05 years of experience in Highway and Major Roads sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all materials comply with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor material quality during road construction, pavement, drainage, and structure works.
- Collect material samples from site and maintain proper testing records.
- Prepare and submit laboratory test reports and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers, QA/QC engineers, consultants, and subcontractors regarding material approvals and test results.
Technical Officer
- HND / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 05 years of experience in Highway and Major Roads sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in supervising highway construction activities at the project site.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site records, and technical documentation.
- Identify site issues and report technical problems to the engineering team.
- Maintain proper filing of drawings, approvals, inspection reports, and project correspondence.
The ideal Candidate should be a team player, have positive Interpersonal and Communication skills with the willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
Familiarity with modern technological advancements will be an added advantage.
