About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems, enclosures and components. This role is well-suited for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build hands-on engineering experience in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing mechanical enclosures, components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Support product development, prototyping, and testing activities.
- Conduct engineering calculations and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, production teams, and quality departments.
- Participate in troubleshooting mechanical issues and proposing solutions.
- Ensure designs comply with safety, quality, and industry standards.
- Assist with project planning, reporting, and progress tracking.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and engineering processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in mechanical engineering projects, internships, or product development environments.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials, manufacturing processes, and product assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks for mechanical component and assembly design.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, tolerancing, and GD&T principles.
- Exposure to mechanical integration of electronic assemblies and structural components is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of heat dissipation methods, airflow concepts, and thermal considerations in product design is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or project experience.
- Knowledge of simulation or analysis tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, etc.).
- Exposure to quality standards and maintenance practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
