Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Parts & Warranty to support and manage daily operations related to vehicle parts and warranty administration for our exclusive EV dealership in Sri Lanka. The role is responsible for coordinating warranty activities with overseas principals and local workshops while ensuring compliance with company standards and principal warranty guidelines. The position will also support parts procurement, inventory control, and timely distribution to maintain efficient workshop operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage warranty claim processes including submission, follow-up, approvals, and recoveries with overseas principals.
- Coordinate warranty and parts-related activities with local workshops and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and principal warranty guidelines.
- Support parts procurement, inventory control, stock planning, and distribution operations.
- Maintain parts availability to minimize workshop downtime and improve service efficiency.
- Monitor warranty KPIs and prepare operational and performance reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support audit requirements.
- Identify process improvements and support continuous operational excellence.
- Guide and coordinate team activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in parts and warranty operations within the automotive industry (EV experience will be an added advantage).
- Degree, Diploma, or professional qualification in Automobile Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Knowledge of warranty management processes and principal compliance requirements.
- Experience in inventory management and parts planning systems.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
