About Us
We created The Sourcing Collective to provide strategic support to the UK design and construction industry with BIM services from Sri Lanka. We are currently working remotely with Architects and Interior Designers across the UK, delivering mixed use BIM projects across all stages.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Architect to work on exciting international design projects. You’ll be part of a dynamic studio environment, supporting our BIM team in delivering high-quality, technically sound built environment solutions.
Essential requirements
- 7–10 years’ experience in an architectural or multidisciplinary environment, delivering technical documentation for international projects (UK preferred).
- Strong, demonstrable expertise in technical detailing, construction documentation, and building technology, able to produce, review, and improve detailed drawings to a high standard.
- Revit capability or enthusiasm to learn, able to review and update technical models, resolve complex issues, and support production teams.
- Excellent understanding of consultant drawings (structural, MEP, fire, acoustic) and ability to coordinate, integrate, and check multidisciplinary information.
- Experience coordinating full drawing packages, managing revisions, and ensuring technical accuracy and alignment across disciplines.
- Excellent organisational and coordination ability, with strong attention to detail, structured communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Confident communicator, able to support UK client-facing discussions, run technical reviews, and contribute to project management.
- Ability to work full-time from our Colombo office.
Beneficial requirements
- Experience delivering UK or international technical documentation.
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods.
- Familiarity with BIM360/ACC, Navisworks, clash workflows, and collaboration platforms.
- Experience managing revision logs, trackers, consultant registers, or technical workflows.
