About US
We created The Sourcing Collective to provide strategic support to the UK design and construction industry with BIM services from Sri Lanka. We are currently working remotely with Architects and Interior Designers across the UK, delivering mixed use BIM projects across all stages.
Role Overview
We are hiring BIM/Architectural Technicians to work on exciting international design projects. You’ll be part of a dynamic studio environment, supporting our BIM team in delivering high-quality, technically sound built environment solutions.
Essential requirements
- 2+ years' experience using Autodesk Revit on design and construction projects for model authoring, information management and construction documentation.
- Robust knowledge on creating and modifying advanced parametric Revit families.
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to Revit/ BIM models and support to other team members on Revit software and BIM modelling techniques.
- Good coordination skills to achieve team goals with the project team.
- Able to work from our office location in Colombo 05. Remote or hybrid work options are not offered for this role.
Beneficial requirements
- Experience working with an international design consultancy or in a local architectural/ engineering production environment
- Effective skills meeting deadlines and managing workload
- Previous experience with BIM projects, BEPs and understanding of international standard such as ISO19650
- Hands on experience in Autodesk Navisworks, Dynamo, BIM Collaborate Pro, Rendering Software and any other BIM tools is desirable.
