VACANCY – SITE ENGINEER (HIGWAYS & ROAD CONSTRUCTION)
Position: Site Engineer – Highways & Road Construction ( COLOMBO )
Requirements:
- BSc Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in road, highway and construction projects.
- Sound knowledge of RDA Specifications, contract administration and quality control procedures.
- Experience in earthworks, drainage works, pavement construction, asphalt works and concrete structures.
- Ability to manage site operations, subcontractors and project resources effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD and project reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Assist in measurement, billing and project documentation.
