What you need to have:
- Should have an undergraduate degree in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized university.
- Following a accountancy professional examination such as CA, CIMA or ACCA
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
- Proven knowledge of accountancy and finance and tax regulations will be an added advantage.
- Should have excellent analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
- Must have attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile GL accounts, including bank statements, to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and MIS reports
- Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to suppliers and vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
