JUNIOR EXECUTIVE – OPERATIONS

Location: Head Office (Colombo 14)

As a Junior Executive – Operations, you will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to vehicle registration, transfer, and documentation with the Department of Motor Traffic (RMV), ensuring timely processing, compliance, and accuracy of documentation to support business disbursements and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to the Assistant Manager – Operations and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support effective financial decision-making. THE JOB ROLE

  • Handle the lodgment of vehicle registration and transfer documents with the RMV.
  • Follow up on pending applications and obtain confirmations required for payment disbursement.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation submissions in compliance with RMV requirements.
  • Maintain proper tracking of all submitted and pending cases.
  • Ensure compliance with RMV regulations and procedural updates.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Handle escalations or delays with the RMV or third parties and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with Branches, Credit, Sales, & Operations teams to ensure timely collection and validation of documents.
  • Maintain proper records, logs, and audit trails for all RMV transactions.
  • Ensure the safe custody of original documents until they are returned to the respective units.
  • Assist in periodic reporting, reconciliations, and operational MIS related to RMV activities.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • G.C.E A/L, Diploma or an equivalent qualification in Business, Operations or a related field from a recognized university or institute.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in finance, banking, or operations.
  • Prior experience in RMV processing or operations is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of vehicle registration procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document handling.
  • Good coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
