ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
Eurobranz are the local agents and distributor for Sanitario Roca of Spain. Roca is the world's largest bathroom brand with presence in 135 countries, 76 manufacturing facilities with 20,000+ employees.
Key Competencies
- Part qualified in CIMA, ACCA, ICSAL or CMA
- Fluent in English & Sinhala, ability to converse in Tamil would be an added advantage
- Computer literacy ( Microsoft Office ) with good knowledge in Spread sheet is a must
- Must work on Saturdays upto 2.00 PM
- 03+ years working experience in similar capacity is mandatory
- Hands on experience in accounting related software, preferably with an ERP based accounting system is a must.
Key Tasks
- Maintaining Company Books
- Checking the payments vouchers
- Posting the entries
- Checking the accuracy of the general ledger entries
- Prepare & Analyze Product & Division wise Profitability
- Checking and analyzing the operational costs and its trends over the period
- Preparing documents for audit
- Checking the bank & inter-company reconciliations
- Preparing monthly management accounts and the budgets
- Attend to Monthly EPF/ETF remittance related work
