ACCOUNTANT
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to support the financial operations of Wintergreen Home Nursing (Pvt) Ltd. The ideal candidate should have experience in the healthcare/home nursing sector or corporate financial management, and the ability to maintain strong financial controls while driving efficiency.
Key Role & Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- General Ledger & Reconciliation: Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist management with budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Taxation & Compliance: Ensure timely submission of statutory payments and compliance with EPF/ETF, VAT, and other regulatory requirements.
- Audit Support: Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Payroll Oversight: Review and verify payroll data prepared by HR for accuracy and compliance.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash flow and assist in maintaining adequate liquidity for operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the accounting or finance sector.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (AAT / ACCA / CIMA / CA or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage).
- Excellent command of MS Excel and proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with financial reporting tools.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
