Overview of the role

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, evaluating processes and performance, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and business outcomes.

What you will do

• Analyze business data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support management decisions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Evaluate existing processes and recommend efficiency and performance improvements.
• Support strategic planning through data-driven insights and analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of information.
• Assist in system enhancements, testing, and implementation activities.

What equips you for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance / Analytics from a recognized university.
• Full/part qualification in CA /CIMA / ACCA or related professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• A proven track record in a Business Analyst role in the financial services is advantageous.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and management reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP is a significant advantage.
