Quality Executive-Finishing - Ingiriya
Job Role:
- Take overall responsibility for quality assurance activities within the finishing department.
- Ensure that finishing processes meet company quality standards and customer requirements.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring SOPs related to finishing quality assurance.
- Maintain and monitor quality checkpoints to ensure products meet buyer specifications.
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions in coordination with relevant teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to QMS practices.
- Maintain strong communication with production, technical, and merchandising teams to resolve quality concerns promptly.
Individual Profile:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a woven garment manufacturing environment.
- Age below 45 years.
- Degree or Diploma in Production, Manufacturing, Textile, or a related discipline.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing and problem-solving tools will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of finishing processes and buyer quality standards.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, make sound decisions, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
