ASSISTANT MANAGER COLLECTIONS / RECOVERY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and coordinate collection activities for due and outstanding payments.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepare collection reports and analyze recovery performance.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
  • Lead and supervise collection officers and support staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years in the Banking/Finance sector, with sound knowledge of international money transfers, collections, and foreign exchange transactions / Excel pivot table formulas.
  • Fluent in English and Sinhala, Tamil will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/accounting systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
