Senior Accountant
A leading group of companies with diversified portfolio of business is looking forward to recruit a highly result orient and enthusiastic Senior Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full set of accounts (General Ledger, AP, AR, Bank Reconciliations)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle manufacturing cost accounting (materials, labor, overheads, project costing)
- Monitor retail operations, including inventory control, margins, and sales performance
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
- Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan Accounting Standards, tax regulations, and BOI requirements
- Strengthen internal controls and support audit functions
- Liaise with production, stores, and sales teams for accurate financial reporting
- Strong knowledge/experience in product pricing/control costs and ability to avoid cost overruns
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/finance
- Experience in both manufacturing and retail sectors is essential
- Full Professional qualification or pass finalists in CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA
- Strong knowledge of costing, inventory management, and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Knowledge about costing.
