JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our team, responsible for managing the company's payment entries and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in an accounting role, strong proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel, and a deep understanding of accounting practices and taxation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Age 25 - 45 yrs
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of accounting in a similar role.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws including VAT, income tax, withholding tax, regulations, and statutory compliance requirements, with the ability to prepare and submit tax returns and related schedules.
  • Perform accounts receivable functions, including customer follow-ups and recovery of outstanding payments. (includes payment processing and follow-ups)
  • Handle banking-related requirements and maintain regular communication with banks regarding transactions, documentation, reconciliations, and other operational matters.
  • Preparing monthly management, financial and statutory reports.
  • Preparing bank reconciliations and related party balance reconciliations.
  • Prepare General Ledger reconciliations.
