E-commerce Manager

AKH IT Solutions (PVT) Ltd is seeking an experienced and results-driven E-commerce Manager to oversee daily operations and performance of our e-commerce platform. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage website operations, coordinate marketing initiatives, analyze performance metrics, and ensure an excellent customer experience while working closely with cross-functional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain the company's e-commerce platform and online product catalogue.
- Ensure accurate product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory updates.
- Monitor website performance, customer engagement, and sales metrics.
- Plan and execute online marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and website analytics to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor and improve website conversion rates and user experience.
- Manage online promotions, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.
- Generate regular performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure efficient handling of customer inquiries, feedback, and online shopping experiences.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and website performance monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing best practices.
- Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and customer management tools.
- Understanding of inventory management, order processing, and payment gateway integrations.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and website troubleshooting is an added advantage.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce, online retail, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Experience managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar systems.
- Good understanding of digital marketing, SEO, social media marketing, and online sales strategies.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- US market experience will be an added advantage.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Sri Lanka Time)
Employment: This is a full-time position directly employed by AKH IT Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. The E-commerce Manager will manage and support the company’s e-commerce operations for the US market, including product listings, website performance, digital marketing activities, and order fulfillment. The role involves working closely with internal teams to improve sales, customer experience, and overall e-commerce performance.
