Inhalation Therapy Aide

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum G.C.E. O/L qualified with passes in 6 subjects
• English Language pass is mandatory

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a hospital or patient-care environment will be an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required
• Physically fit and able to assist with patient handling and equipment movement
• Compassionate, responsible, and able to work well in a team
• Willingness to follow infection control, safety, and hospital procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the inhalation therapy / respiratory care team in preparing patients for treatment
• Help prepare, clean, and maintain inhalation therapy equipment and accessories
• Support oxygen, nebulization, and related therapy setup under supervision
• Ensure equipment and treatment areas are kept clean and orderly
• Monitor and report consumable and equipment shortages
• Assist with transporting patients when necessary
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times
• Coordinate with nursing and medical staff as required
