Overview Of The Role
Are you a high-energy, polished leader who thrives in a premium retail environment? We are seeking an exceptional, experienced Showroom Manager to take the reins of our flagship - Yamaha Showroom in Borella.
As the face of Yamaha’s premier location, you will lead a dynamic sales operation, manage a dedicated floor team, and maintain world-class visual and operational standards. This role requires a unique blend of sharp commercial acumen, commanding public presence, and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive showroom performance to achieve aggressive growth targets. Build and sustain high-value client relationships and represent the brand confidently in public-facing interactions, product launches, or promotional events.
- Supervise, mentor, and maintain high discipline among the floor staff (showroom assistants/boys). Cultivate a motivated, high-performance team culture.
- Maintain absolute visual excellence. Oversee daily housekeeping, layout management, and premium presentation of the showroom floor to meet global Yamaha standards.
- Lead rigorous inventory management, tracking stock movements, and coordinating vehicle and accessory replenishment seamlessly.
- Act as the ultimate escalation point for daily operational issues, customer grievances, and logistical challenges, resolving them swiftly and tactfully.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Degree or Diploma in Sales / Marketing, or Business Management.
- 3–5 years of executive retail or showroom management experience, ideally within premium automotive, consumer electronics, or luxury hospitality sectors.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
- Experience in database management and reporting systems (SAP).
- Outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to address crowds and high-profile clients fluently in English and Sinhala (Tamil is a plus).
- Solid experience in managing ground-level showroom teams, ensuring operational discipline and teamwork.
