WE ARE HIRING ENGINEERING ASSISTANT (ELECTRICAL) - EKALA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic faults.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Support installations, upgrades, and complex repairs with senior engineers.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and manage spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Interpret technical drawings and manuals for effective troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external parties for smooth operations.
- Identify improvements and support overall operational efficiency.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Passed GCE A/L – Mathematics Scheme.
- National Diploma in Technology – 3 year Course conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education in the field of Electricals or Electronics.
- Special Apprentices in Engineering Science Course conducted by the Institute of Engineering Technology at Katunayake in the field of Electrical or Electronics.
- Minimum 3 Years’ Experience in the field of Electrical engineering maintenance of electrical or electronic components of a manufacturing enterprise.
- Experience in supervision & maintenance of operation of Boilers, Air Compressors, Generators & Chilled Water Plants.
