SENIOR MICROBIOLOGIST CUM LABORATORY MANAGER (MALE & FEMALE)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Microbiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in microbiological testing, quality control, and compliance with industry standards, ensuring the safety and efficacy of our products and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct microbiological testing and analysis in chemical manufacturing and water/wastewater treatment processes.
- Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB) standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement microbiological control procedures for quality assurance.
- Provide technical guidance to junior microbiologists and laboratory staff.
- Maintain laboratory documentation and reports in line with SLAB accreditation standards.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with specialization in Microbiology from a recognized university.
- Experience handling SLAB authorization signatures will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory, preferably in an ISO 17025-accredited environment.
- Strong knowledge of microbiological testing methods, quality control and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 and environmental regulations would be an added advantage.
