AUTOMOBILE TECHNICIAN / ELECTRICIAN / FOREMAN / ASSISTANT STORE KEEPER

JOB PURPOSE
To perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of Volvo vehicles while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with manufacturer standards. This role involves both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, with leadership responsibilities for Foreman-level candidates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
TECHNICAL DUTIES (TECHNICIAN)
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in Volvo vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, engine tuning, and inspections
- Handle advanced electrical systems including wiring, sensors, ECU systems, and diagnostic tools
- Use specialized diagnostic equipment to identify faults and recommend solutions
- Ensure all repairs are carried out according to Volvo standards and safety procedures
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems
- Minimum experience: 4–5 years
ELECTRICAL DUTIES (AUTO ELECTRICAL/ELECTRICIAN)
- Troubleshoot and repair vehicle electrical systems including lighting, ignition, charging, and control systems
- Carry out wiring repairs, replacements, and installations
- Diagnose faults in electronic control units (ECU) and CAN bus systems
- Troubleshoot industrial equipment and generators
- Test motor windings and generator armatures
- Carry out industrial wiring (single-phase and three-phase) and PLC system testing
- Perform testing of PLC systems and control modules
- Conduct testing on electric vehicles and charging units
- Minimum experience: 4–5 years
SUPERVISORY DUTIES (FOREMAN)
- Supervise workshop technicians and ensure efficient workflow
- Allocate jobs and monitor progress to meet deadlines
- Maintain quality control and ensure adherence to company and Volvo standards
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff
- Coordinate with service advisors and management regarding job status and customer requirements
- Prepare repair estimates and parts quotations based on customer inquiries
- Plan and organize daily and weekly work schedules
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve targets
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to work extended hours when required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Valid driving license (preferred)

TOOL STORES – ASSISTANT STORE KEEPER
- Knowledge of tools used in a workshop
- Ability to identify materials and lubricants used in the workshop
- Basic computer knowledge
- Maintain inventory systems, including receiving and ordering consumables
- Minimum experience: 1–2 years
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- NVQ Level 4 / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience with Volvo or European vehicles (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Leadership and team management skills (for Foreman role)
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good communication skills in English
