ASSISTANT MANAGER INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

We invite a versatile candidate who is currently active in international business development and in possession of the necessary leads to approach new market segments in the USA, Europe, Middle East and the Asia Pacific region for our products, to join Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC as the Assistant Manager International Business Development.
Job Role
- Designing and implementing business development strategies to exploit growth opportunities in the porcelain industry.
- Developing new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures and new market segments.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders to enhance market presence and drive sales.
- Overseeing the development of prospective customers and execution of sales at the inception.
- Working closely with the product development team to align new products with market demands and integrating innovative technologies and designs.
- Engaging in market surveys, analysis, reporting and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Professional qualification in marketing is preferred.
- Over 3 years of proven experience in international business development and/or international sales & marketing preferably in the porcelain, tea export or homeware industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Residing in Negombo/ Gampaha/ Wattala will be an advantage.
