Technician- Mechanical/Technical

Locations: Rathnapura

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technicians to join our NMI Group of Companies.

Responsibilities

• EV Diagnostics: Use high-tech scanners to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software faults in BYD electric vehicles.
• Battery & Motor Service: Safely repair and maintain high-voltage battery packs, electric motors, and charging systems.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform periodic services, brake repairs, suspension work, and vehicle software updates.
• Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all high-voltage safety guidelines and workshop protocols.
• Service Records: Keep accurate logs of all vehicle faults, repairs made, and spare parts used in the system.
• Quality Control: Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure all vehicles meet BYD standards before customer delivery.

Candidate Profile

• Technical qualification (NVQ, Diploma, or Certificate) in Automobile or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 years working experience in vehicle repair (Hybrid or EV experience is a major plus).
• A strong commitment to workshop safety standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
