BELLAGIO Limited, one of the leading entertainment companies in Sri Lanka, is seeking a talented, creative, and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations, maintain the highest standards of food quality, and oversee kitchen management across our company.
EXECUTIVE CHEF
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise food preparation according to standard recipes and continually improve cuisine quality.
- Develop menus and maintain accurate costing of all food items.
- Ensure attractive food presentation and creative displays.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and sanitation.
- Interact with guests and respond to feedback on food and service.
- Ensure consistency and compliance with departmental quality standards.
- Enforce all kitchen safety and food hygiene procedures.
- Recruit, train, coach, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance performance and skills.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within an international hospitality environment.
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent Culinary Qualification.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and guest relations abilities.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong reporting, budgeting, and record-keeping skills.
