WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Senior Bulk Merchandiser / Bulk Merchandiser - Colombo 04
Key Responsibilities
- Attend risk analysis and style handover meetings, and share relevant details with the sample, technical, and production teams.
- Liaise with fabric mills and trim suppliers to ensure the timely sourcing of raw materials.
- Follow up on sample submissions and approvals in a timely manner.
- Effectively manage the critical path, ensuring 100% customer coordination and on-time performance.
- Follow up in advance to book capacities and obtain future forecasts from the development team.
- Follow up on buyer POs to ensure all details such as price, delivery, etc. are correct.
- Ensure a detailed and complete handover from the development team with accurate information.
- Manage supplier evaluations and support improvements in all aspects of supplier performance.
- Conduct all aspects of sampling and testing according to company SOPs, and coordinate with other departments, such as the technical team, as required.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Degree or diploma in a relevant field from a recognized university, or any other equivalent qualification.
- 2-6 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, coupled with strong computer literacy.
- Experience in handling UK/European customers will be a definite advantage.
