ASSISTANT MANAGER - FINANCE & ACCOUNTING

DEPARTMENT - GENERAL LEDGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible in handling Cluster Management Accounts which comprises several subsidiaries including respective legal entities
• Ensure application of correct accounting treatment in respect of data entry into journals by subordinates, identify and rectify errors/omissions to ensure that Financial Reports are free from material misstatements
• Communicate and collaborate with the Cluster Finance Teams to gather the required information, resolve issues, and provide effective solutions to facilitate timely closure of outstanding matters
• Liaise with Auditors, Banks to ensure smooth flow of work

WHAT YOU BRING?

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance and is partly qualified in a recognized professional qualification such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance, with strong practical exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes is required
