SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
(APARTMENTS | COSTING & SITE COORDINATION)
GRAND APARTMENTS IS SEEKING A SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR TO SUPPORT OUR APARTMENT CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS WITH ACCURATE TAKE-OFFS, COST ESTIMATES, AND BILLING COORDINATION. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE WORKING CLOSELY WITH BOTH DRAWINGS AND ACTUAL SITE CONDITIONS TO ENSURE SMOOTH MATERIAL PLANNING AND FINANCIAL TRACKING. THIS IS A HANDS-ON ROLE THAT INVOLVES FREQUENT SITE VISITS, COORDINATION WITH ENGINEERS, AND PREPARATION OF TIMELY VALUATIONS AND BILLS.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Salary: LKR 130,000 – 150,000 per month (based on experience, with performance-based increments)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and interim bills based on finalized drawings
- Prepare BOQs and detailed material calculations
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison sheets
- Conduct site visits to verify quantities and ensure feasibility in execution
- Track material consumption and reconcile with site usage reports
- Identify and resolve construction-related discrepancies under tight deadlines
- Coordinate with site engineers and management for timely valuations and progress claims
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or degree in quantity surveying or civil engineering
- 5 years of experience in apartment or commercial projects
- Ability to read and extract quantities from drawings accurately
- Knowledge of local construction rates, materials, and billing formats
- Strong skills in Excel, AutoCAD, CostX
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and reporting ability
