Vacancy – IT Support Engineer / Associate Site Support Engineer (Colombo District)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT support services at customer locations, including leading banks and multinational organizations.
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-user technical issues and service requests.
- Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications.
- Perform user account administration and basic IT operational support activities.
- Escalate complex incidents to relevant support teams and vendors when required.
- Maintain service tickets, incident records, and technical documentation in accordance with customer service level agreements (SLAs).
- Deliver professional and customer-focused support while working within enterprise environments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree, Higher Diploma, Diploma, or an equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and diploma holders with strong technical aptitude and a willingness to develop their careers in IT support services are encouraged to apply for the Associate Site Support Engineer role.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT helpdesk, desktop support, or end-user support will be preferred for the Site Support Engineer role.
- Good understanding of PC, laptop, and peripheral hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and endpoint support.
- Experience in printer troubleshooting, Active Directory user administration, and basic networking concepts will be considered advantageous.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, customer-focused communication skills, and a professional work ethic are essential.
