ASSOCIATE DEVOPS ENGINEER
We are seeking a motivated and technically driven Associate DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support CI/CD pipeline management, cloud infrastructure, automation, and security operations while helping ensure system reliability, operational efficiency, and adherence to security best practices. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to support continuous improvement across our technology environment.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Support the secure configuration, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and servers.
- Monitor system alerts, logs, and dashboards to identify operational and security-related events.
- Assist with security monitoring, alert triage, incident identification, and SOC-related activities.
- Support SIEM log management, analysis, and continuous monitoring efforts.
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities.
- Assist with patch management, system updates, and infrastructure hardening initiatives.
- Support identity and access management processes while maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in DevOps, IT Infrastructure, Security Operations, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD processes, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of information security concepts, cybersecurity fundamentals, and SOC operations.
- Familiarity with Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Basic scripting experience using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Exposure to Git version control systems and CI/CD platforms.
- Awareness of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies like Docker is an advantage.
- Exposure to SIEM tools, vulnerability management, and security best practices is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work according to standard U.S. hours and calendar.
