ASSOCIATE BUSINESS ANALYST & QUALITY ASSURANCE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Business Analyst & Quality Assurance professional to join our team. In this role, you will support business analysis, requirements documentation, software testing, and quality assurance activities to ensure solutions are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and project teams to bridge business needs with technology solutions.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Participate in requirement-gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and workshops to ensure clear understanding of business needs.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to clarify requirements and support successful project delivery.
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Support release validation, post-deployment testing, and UAT coordination.
- Ensure requirement traceability and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions with minimal defects.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Software Quality Assurance roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of software testing concepts, QA methodologies, and defect management processes.
- Ability to prepare clear and structured documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and test cases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and exposure to API testing, web/mobile testing, or automation concepts will be an added advantage.
- Flexibility to work according to standard U.S. hours and calendar.
