We are looking for an Attorney-at-Law with 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably with exposure to commercial law, litigation, drafting, research and instructing work.
Candidates should be able to assist with legal research, drafting, client correspondence, court-related work, commercial and corporate matters, company law matters, litigation support and general legal work handled by the firm.
A Notarial Licence in English and Sinhala will be given special consideration.
The ideal candidate should have:
Suitable for candidates interested in law, legal support, company secretarial work or administration, including candidates studying law, waiting to enrol at Sri Lanka Law College, or studying management, business, economics, administration or related fields.
Suitable for candidates eligible to complete the mandatory 6-month apprenticeship programme required by Sri Lanka Law College. Current Law College students may also be considered if the programme does not conflict with class schedules.
Commercial law, litigation, company law, company secretarial work, intellectual property, immigration, conveyancing, notarial work and legal or administrative support.
Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Internship / Apprenticeship allowance: Rs. 10,000 per month travel allowance
Junior Associate salary: Based on experience and suitability
