Marketing Manager
We are a leading, rapidly growing rice milling company based in the heart of the agricultural hub, Anuradhapura. Committed to delivering premium quality rice products across the island, we are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and vision-driven Marketing Manager to lead our commercial growth and brand presence.
The Role:
As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing strategic marketing plans to increase market share, optimize distribution channels, and strengthen our brand identity in both retail and wholesale sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to achieve company growth targets.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities within the rice industry.
- Strengthen and expand the island-wide retail and wholesale network, ensuring smooth logistics alignment.
- Oversee promotional campaigns, seasonal marketing initiatives (especially during peak harvesting seasons), and brand activation events.
- Manage digital marketing channels, social media presence, and corporate communication.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the field sales and marketing team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Candidates should be possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification (CIM / SLIM) in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of proven experience in marketing/sales management, ideally within the FMCG sector (experience in the rice mill or agribusiness industry will be a distinct advantage).
- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, distributor management, and rural/urban market dynamics in Sri Lanka.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in Sinhala and English (Tamil is a plus).
- Proximity to Anuradhapura or willingness to relocate is preferred.
