Spice and Curry by ANILAD is a family restaurant and more. Situated at Poorwarama road, Nugegoda with a vibe of family dining and afterwork get togethers with both indoors and outdoor seating options. Guests can host parties and office functions with a sophisticated interior and atmosphere.
We are on the lookout for an individual with excellent people skills to work in an exciting and modern Food and Beverage operations, delivering exceptional service to our guests.
WE'RE HIRING
RESTAURANT MANAGER for NUGEGODA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day to day operations of the restaurant including opening and closing procedures, inventory management and cash handling.
- Train, develop and manage restaurant staff, including conduction performance evaluation and scheduling shifts.
- Ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met, including proper food handling, storage and preparation.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers, including overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and kitchen area.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and addressing concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and manage restaurant and expenses, including labour costs, food costs and inventory.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Minimum 3 years experience in family dining restaurants.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety, inventory management and cash handling.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organised restaurant environment.
- Familiarity with restaurant software and technology, including POS system and inventory management software.
