The Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in ensuring compliance with accounting and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
- Support payroll-related activities and employee reimbursement processing.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management information.
- Support tax, EPF, ETF, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes.
- Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
Skills Qualifications & Attributes:
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CMA, ACCA, AAT, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
