EXECUTIVE / ASST.MANAGER – SUPPLY CHAIN

Ackzorne Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is a SLSI & ISO certified manufacturer of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles/closures and has been engaged in B2B business for decades. The Company also in the process of setting up large scale export project. Ackzorne is a part of Orzone Group with a success history over 4 decades with billion-rupees business. The Group also made investments in leisure sector in Uva province with a long-term plan to maximize synergy of the Group.

ROLE PROFILE:

  • Oversee supplier and vendor verification, registration, and formal contract engagement.
  • Negotiate favorable pricing, delivery, and payment terms with local and overseas suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage procurement operations within budget and drive process improvements.
  • Prepare and present procurement and inventory reports for management and review meetings.
  • Manage and oversee all warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock audits, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, record-keeping, and implementation of efficient operational procedures.
  • Responsible for adhere, comply and perform the responsibilities assigned based on the ISO / SLSI standards.

PERSONAL PROFILE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operation management, or any other relevant field.
  • Two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in the plastic or PET bottle industry is an added advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in documentation.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
