TRAINEE OPPORTUNITY

Richardson Projects (Pvt) Ltd invites applications from enthusiastic Engineering undergraduates and Diploma students for a 6-month industrial training program in our Transmission & Distribution Division. This program is designed for students who wish to gain practical exposure not only in engineering, but also in the commercial, technical, and international business aspects of the power industry.

Job Role

  • Business Development within the power transmission and distribution sector
  • Working with globally reputed manufacturers, suppliers, and technology partners
  • Tender preparation, technical documentation, and bid submission processes
  • Project costing, estimation, budgeting, and commercial evaluations
  • Understanding and application of international engineering standards including International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and BSI Group (BS/British Standards)
  • Product selection, technical compliance reviews, and specification analysis
  • Exposure to international procurement, import/export procedures, and foreign trade practices related to the electrical industry
  • Technical communication with overseas principals, manufacturers, and clients
  • Project planning, contract administration, and engineering documentation

Qualifications

  • Currently qualified in NVQ 4 in an Engineering diploma program from a recognized institute
  • Interest in power systems, project engineering, business development, or technical sales
  • Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn both technical and commercial aspects of the industry
