Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Executive - Finance to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the organization’s financial operations by managing payment processes, coordinating with banks and suppliers, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties to maintain accurate financial records, support efficient cash flow management, and contribute to the smooth functioning of day-to-day finance activities.

Your role will involve

  • Processing local, draft, and TT payments while ensuring the completion of all related banking documentation.
  • Preparing and maintaining the weekly payment plan to support timely and efficient cash flow management.
  • Coordinating with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) to obtain Tax Clearance Certificates and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding invoices, payments, and supporting documentation to maintain effective relationships and resolve payment-related matters.
  • Performing bank reconciliations on a timely basis to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Managing and reconciling RM Float accounts while ensuring proper tracking and accountability of funds.

You should have

  • A Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury, or a similar role. Experience in payment processing and banking operations will be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of local and international payment processes, banking documentation, and reconciliation procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, banks, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, responsible, and results-oriented with a high level of confidentiality.
