CALLING APPLICATIONS FOR ACCREDITATION AS PLAYER MANAGERS
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) hereby invites applications from suitably qualified individuals and business entities seeking accreditation as Player Managers recognized by Sri Lanka Cricket.
Applications are invited from
- a) Individuals who are citizens of Sri Lanka; and/or
- b) Companies, partnerships, firms, or other business entities duly registered in Sri Lanka, who wish to represent, advise, manage, negotiate, or otherwise act on behalf of Sri Lanka Cricket contracted players at International, National and Domestic levels.
The accreditation framework is intended to ensure that players have access to competent, professional, and accountable representatives who comply with the standards and regulations established by Sri Lanka Cricket.
BENEFITS
- Accredited Player Managers shall:
- Receive official accreditation and recognition from Sri Lanka Cricket as a Player Manager;
- Be eligible to represent Sri Lanka Cricket-contracted players in accordance with SLC regulations;
- Be included in the pool of accredited Player Managers from which players may select their preferred representatives based on competence, experience, and the professional services offered;
- Be entitled to negotiate and enter into commercial arrangements with players within the framework established by Sri Lanka Cricket, including any related fees, commissions, or sponsorship arrangements;
- Be eligible to market their professional services to players and prospective players within the framework established by Sri Lanka Cricket.
ACREDITATION FEES
- a) Initial Accreditation Fee – USD 500
- b) Annual Renewal Fee – USD 250
All fees paid shall be non-refundable unless otherwise determined by Sri Lanka Cricket.
TERMS OF ACCREDITATION
Accreditation shall be granted solely at the discretion of Sri Lanka Cricket and shall be subject to compliance with all applicable SLC regulations, policies, codes of conduct, safeguarding requirements, and accreditation conditions.
Accredited Player Managers shall be subject to periodic reviews and annual assessments conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket. Failure to comply with the applicable requirements may result in suspension, revocation, non-renewal, or withdrawal of accreditation.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
- i. Accreditation by Sri Lanka Cricket shall constitute only official recognition of the Player Manager by Sri Lanka Cricket;
- ii. Sri Lanka Cricket does not guarantee, undertake, warrant, or represent that any player will engage a Player Manager or that services of any manager will be required;
- iii. The accreditation is not transferable and shall be subject to annual review;
- iv. Other terms and conditions as may be specified by Sri Lanka Cricket from time to time.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- i. Sri Lanka Cricket reserves the absolute right to accept or reject any application that does not satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria and accreditation requirements;
- ii. The information provided by applicants must be true and correct to the best of their knowledge, and Sri Lanka Cricket reserves the right to verify any details provided;
- iii. The decision of Sri Lanka Cricket in relation to accreditation shall be final and binding;
- iv. Sri Lanka Cricket may require additional information or documentation as part of the evaluation process.
