Job Responsibilities

  • Handle internal and external payment collections and settlements accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage petty cash transactions and maintain proper records of all disbursements and reimbursements.
  • Administer and monitor daily transactions, ensuring timely settlement and accurate documentation.
  • Perform daily cash counts and reconcile cash balances at the end of each day.
  • Prepare and deposit cash collections in accordance with company procedures and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all cash receipts, payments, and related transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with approved guidelines, internal controls, and company policies while carrying out cashier responsibilities.
  • Assist in maintaining proper financial documentation and support audit and verification requirements when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification.
  • Part qualification in Accounting/Finance (will be an added advantage).
  • Previous experience in a cashiering, finance, or accounting related role.
  • Good numerical, reconciliation, and record-keeping skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
