Assistant Accountant
Serving Australian Clients
Pelawatta, Battaramulla • 6:00 am – 2:30 pm • 5-day work week
We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team in Pelawatta, Battaramulla. You will be working directly with Australian clients based in Canberra — gaining valuable international experience without leaving Sri Lanka.

THE ROLE
This position covers all aspects of Accounting, Financial Reporting and bookkeeping, including the preparation of Australian tax returns. Full training will be provided on Australian tax and accounting regulations, our systems, and AI-assisted workflows — no prior Australian tax experience is required.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent written and spoken English
- ICA (Chartered), CIMA, or ACCA part qualification
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (audit experience an advantage)
- Strong attention to detail and a responsible, reliable approach
- Team player with a collaborative, positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new systems and AI workflows
- Ability to commute to Pelawatta (Battaramulla) by 6:00 am
- Willingness to follow the Australian public holiday calendar
