Switchboard Drafter
Experience :
- 3-5 years in LV switchboard drafting and design
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency, including advanced features
- Experience with EPLAN Electric P8, including device management, macros, reports, and project documentation
- Ability to interpret SLDs and develop complete switchboard designs
- Good understanding of control wiring philosophies, schematics, and panel wiring practices
- Hands-on experience in switchboard manufacturing, assembly, installation, or testing
- Experience with switchgear brands such as ABB, Schneider, etc.
- Experience generating BOQs from designs
- Experience preparing and maintaining as-built documentation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in engineering documentation
Responsibilities :
- Develop GA drawings, internal layouts, control wiring schematics, fabrication drawings, and manufacturing documentation for LV switchboards
- Prepare electrical and mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and EPLAN Electric P8
- Interpret SLDs to develop practical switchboard designs
- Produce and maintain control wiring schematics
- Prepare and update as-built documentation and drawing revisions
- Liaise with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure designs are accurate and manufacturable
- Support production by resolving design issues during manufacturing/assembly
- Ensure drawings comply with company and project standards
