RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle day-to-day employee grievances and disciplinary matters during assigned shifts.
  • Conduct preliminary investigations related to misconduct, absenteeism, conflicts, and policy violations.
  • Support maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, supervisors, and line management.
  • Act as the HR representative for the assigned shift.
  • Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, overtime, and shift movement.
  • Coordinate shift-related employee matters with production teams.
  • Address employee welfare concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Support employee engagement and motivation activities.
  • Monitor workplace behavior, employee morale, and team discipline.
  • Coordinate with security, production, and administration teams during shift operations.
  • Analyze recurring employee relation issues and recommend improvements.
  • Required Qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Employee Relations or HR Operations within the apparel/manufacturing sector.
  • Good knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and factory practices.
