Since then, the company has evolved into an International Freight Forwarding & Logistics Service Provider with a network of highly reputed logistical partners situated worldwide.
In its efforts to expand the business operation, the company has the following vacancy available for immediate placement.
POST
EXECUTIVE – CUSTOMER SERVICE (FREIGHT FORWARDING/LOGISTICS)
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate end-to-end customer service operation for Import/Export covering Air & Sea freight services.
- Act as primary contact for all customers, overseas agents, and internal stakeholders.
- Co-ordinate with all stakeholders (internal / external) to enable smooth flow of work operations.
- Ensure internal cost controls and contribute towards profitability.
- Maintain product / customer wise performance reports, provide customer feedback and process improvement initiatives to enable Management decision making.
Requirements
- Age between 25-30 years
- GCE A/L qualification
- Possess a Certificate/Diploma in Freight forwarding and/or Logistics.
- Minimum 2-3 years work experience in the freight forwarding industry.
- Sound knowledge of freight operations covering import, export and customs brokerage (Air/Sea).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to operate independently and as a team.
- Proficiency in MS office applications and Freight Forwarding systems
- Fluent in spoken/written English & Sinhala (any other language will be advantageous)
